Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit activity and help to confirm that visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries follow established location procedures. Support a professional atmosphere by communicating clearly with residents, guests, and/or team members while assisting with routine security-related requests and unusual situations. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
