Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Gate Access Control in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, manage access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time / Drive & Foot Patrol Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other restricted areas, verifying access permissions and observing for suspicious behavior or security-related concerns. Support daily operations at a financial services location by assisting with opening and closing activities, maintaining awareness of high-traffic areas, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
