What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate airport and/or government authorities and completing required reports. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment. Assist with access control by monitoring restricted-entry points, checking identification and/or credentials when assigned, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas. Monitor for irregular activity such as unattended items, suspicious behavior, and/or unauthorized access attempts, and communicate observations promptly via radio and/or telephone. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
