What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with communications, notifications, and scene management as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, equipment areas, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries in logs and/or electronic systems. Complete accurate reports on patrol activity, incidents, alarms, and maintenance or hazard observations, and promptly escalate issues through the established chain of command. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
