Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively patrolling and monitoring assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and communication while responding to incidents as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 05:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor for unusual activity and report findings to appropriate personnel or management. Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at the location, including employees, visitors, and contractors. Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized persons. Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
