What You'll Do: Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, utility zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, screening visitors and deliveries, issuing badges, and directing traffic flow per site requirements. Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnovers using required systems, and communicate observed hazards and/or maintenance issues to site contacts per procedure. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Having a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
