As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor alarms and communications systems, and route officers to incidents while keeping accurate logs and reports. You will be a key point of contact for employees and visitors, delivering clear customer service and calm communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Operate the dispatch and communications function by monitoring alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and electronic systems, and coordinating response with on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating per post orders. Support access control activities by verifying identification, managing visitor processing, and communicating entry approvals and/or restrictions in accordance with site requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors and perimeter routes, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss. Minimum Requirements: An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
