As an unarmed patrol officer at a residential apartment community, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, respond to calls for service, and document security-related observations while delivering standout customer service to residents and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of apartment buildings, amenity areas, parking areas, and the surrounding property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points and observe property activity, addressing policy violations such as unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or parking concerns in accordance with site guidelines. Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover communications, and assist with resident inquiries and service requests as directed by post orders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required from the state in which the job is located in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required. CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
