What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to guests and staff. Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters as required by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
