As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a commercial real estate location. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives. Assist visitors and tenants with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the property through visible patrols and attentive presence. Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
