AN OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN WITHIN THE VILLAGE FOR A SECURITY OFFICER TO ASSIST WITH PROVIDING A SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES ACROSS THE VILLAGE.

Interested in:A team-oriented individual with strong customer service skills and proven ability to navigate and resolve conflict situations. Prior experience in security is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE WILL BE:

  • To ensure the safety, security and welfare of all staff, customers and visitors to the village.
  • Patrolling the village and all departmental premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Respond promptly to all Emergency, Fire & Intruder alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, suppliers, deliveries etc. to maintain security of the premises.
  • Provide reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, untidiness or unusual occurrences.
  • In the event of a significant incident, escalate to Management and call / liaise with the Emergency Services where applicable. This could entail meeting them at the Village entrance and then direct or escort them to the incident and then To then complete the required documentation.
  • Answer telephone calls, answer questions, take messages, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
  • Drive and maintain cleanliness of the company vehicles as required.
  • Monitor the main entrance to and exit from the Village, directing traffic and pedestrians to avoid congestion.
    Support departments as required.

THIS POST WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE (DBS) CHECK DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE.

Availability:We have 1 permanent contract available, offering 24 hours per week over 3 days, in a department that operates 7 days a week.
