What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance issues or suspicious activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management and directing individuals to appropriate resources. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials when required and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activity. Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and support local law enforcement and/or first responders as directed. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
