Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 07:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 07:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 07:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 07:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location serving vulnerable populations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site personnel, visitors, and/or public agency representatives. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns. Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and/or shift documentation, and provide courteous assistance to individuals seeking directions, information, or support. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
