As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, support security-related operations, and maintain clear communication to help to deter incidents. What You'll Do: Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, maintaining accurate records of all calls and activity. Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific protocols. Dispatch security-related personnel to designated locations within the utilities facility as needed. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Assist in maintaining situational awareness of the utilities location by monitoring surveillance systems and/or alarm panels. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and emergency responders during routine operations and/or emergencies. Support Allied Universal team members by relaying important information and updates in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
