Description:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Must have a valid SIA Licence.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Must have driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
  • Must be within a reasonable commuting distance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about creating a safe and secure environment? Securitas is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to protect people and property in Towcester!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security. Monitor for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Gatehouse Management: Control access to the property by monitoring the gatehouse. Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
  • Deliveries and Collections: Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and collections, verifying the identity of personnel and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras to observe and record activities on the premises. Report any incidents or anomalies promptly.
  • Incident Reporting: Document any incidents, accidents, or security breaches in a clear and concise manner. Prepare detailed reports as required.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide a visible security presence and assist visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
