Company Description We’re Hiring: Security Officer 📍 Location: Cardiff 💰 Pay: 12.60 📅 Hours: 3 days 6-6 3 nights 6-6 3 off 56 hours a week A valid SIA Licence Knowledge of access control systems Must have a valid Driving Licence due to site locations Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history (enhanced screening required) Strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a keen eye for detail Computer literate - able to use basic IT systems We are seeking a Security Officer who holds a valid SIA Licence and possesses knowledge of access control systems. The ideal Security Officer must have a valid driving licence due to site locations and demonstrate the right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history, as enhanced screening is required. Strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a keen eye for detail are essential, along with being a team player and computer literate, capable of using basic IT systems. Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors. Conducting regular safety and security patrols. Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures. Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches. Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption. Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.
