This is a night-shift position supporting a calm, professional environment with a strong focus on safety, customer service, and vigilance. Job Description Key Responsibilities Out-of-hours reception cover, providing a welcoming and secure presence Internal foot patrols to ensure safety, security, and compliance Monitoring access and maintaining accurate logs Responding to incidents professionally and promptly In the role, you will focus on Protection of Property & Premises by preventing unauthorised access, responding to alarms, intruders, and CCTV activity, conducting internal and external patrols, reporting defects or security concerns, enforcing company policies and visitor procedures, responsibly managing keys and security equipment, and accurately recording incidents in line with Assignment Instructions. You will support Health & Safety by promoting safe working practices, recording accidents and hazards, following incident response procedures, and providing First Aid assistance where trained, including supporting emergency services. Your responsibilities also extend to Loss Prevention & Crime Reduction, where you will report theft, damage, and suspicious behaviour, reduce risks, carry out investigations, complete written reports, use security equipment appropriately, and conduct stop and search when required. A strong focus on Customer Service is essential, delivering an excellent experience to staff, visitors, and clients while handling queries professionally and maintaining high standards of personal presentation. In addition, you will perform Other Duties, including completing daily shift tasks and handovers, keeping documentation accurate, following company procedures, and supporting events or other tasks as needed. Effective decision‑making is essential, allowing you to respond appropriately to situations, assess risks, and choose the best course of action.
