As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring proper visitor management and documentation Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols Manage and accurately document the receipt of deliveries Operate security equipment, including CCTV systems and access control devices Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure workplace Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors Perform additional security duties as required to support site operations Qualifications Valid SIA licence Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant during extended periods Professional demeanour and smart appearance Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends Physical fitness to perform security duties, including standing for long periods and patrolling Basic computer skills for report writing and operating security systems Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills Willingness to undergo additional security training as required
