The Security Officer is responsible for delivering a professional security service that protects people, property, and assets in line with Assignment Instructions and customer requirements. As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe environment through effective patrols, monitoring, incident reporting, and excellent customer service. An SIA licence is required, and the Security Officer will be expected to uphold the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. SIA Licence (essential) Right to work in the UK. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts (days/nights/weekends). Full UK driving licence and own transport (desirable). Previous experience in a security or gatehouse role (preferred) Must be a 5 year UK resident, UK national - Able to pass and obtain SC Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Protection of Property and Premises Prevent unauthorised access and monitor alarms/CCTV. Conduct regular internal and external patrols. Manage traffic, parking, keys, and locking/unlocking duties. Carry out routine equipment checks and maintain records/logbooks. Issue visitor passes and manage site equipment per procedures. Handle lost property in line with instructions. Health and Safety Support staff, visitors, and contractors to ensure site safety. Follow and enforce health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and incidents. Keep emergency routes clear at all times. Report use and shortages of First Aid supplies. Notify SOC in emergencies and follow instructions. Investigate all fire alarm activations.
