This role focuses on protecting employees, property, and assets while consistently providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism and embody key values such as integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness🛡️ As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include maintaining the safety and security of the site through regular patrols, monitoring alarm systems and CCTV, and preventing unauthorised access. You will also be responsible for managing site access, carrying out routine equipment checks, handling key management duties, and maintaining accurate records and logbooks. That includes: Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.
