The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of security service in line with site procedures, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and facilities while maintaining a visible and reassuring presence on site🛡️ Key duties as a Security Officer include monitoring access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, conducting regular patrols, managing site entry and exit points, and carrying out routine checks of security equipment. You will also support traffic management, key control, and locking/unlocking procedures while delivering excellent customer service at all times. You will have a proactive approach and strong attention to detail, as you will play a crucial role in supporting operations within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. That includes: Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.
