In this role, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will contribute with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun07:30 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying access permissions and directing visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures. Support daily operations at an industrial and/or government location by maintaining a visible presence, preparing clear reports, and assisting with routine security-related checks and site instructions. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
