QUALIFICATIONS/ LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

  • A current and valid QLD Security Licence. (mandatory)
  • First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). (mandatory)
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Security Officer with SKG Services, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, customers, and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations on the premises while delivering exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and patrol premises to ensure security and safety.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
  • Report and document security incidents accurately and in accordance with protocols
  • Act as a deterrent to unauthorised activities on-site.
  • Supervise and support team members (for supervisor roles).
  • Conduct detailed checks and comprehensive patrols
  • Proactively monitor the site for safety and security breaches
  • Perform other security/safety duties conscientiously and as required
  • Enforce procedural rules and regulations
  • Ensure the personal safety of staff, customers, and property
  • Maintain security and safety for the clients, customers and staff
  • Monitor CCTV, control room duties and access control
