Job Title: Security Officer Department: Security Reports To: Director of Security Created: 5/14/2025 Job Summary: The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at the medical center. This includes patrolling facilities, responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and enforcing rules and regulations to ensure the safety and protection of all individuals and property on site. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively. * Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. * Basic computer skills required. Preferred Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED preferred. Essential Functions/ Assigned Tasks: * Respond promptly and appropriately to all calls for assistance from any source within the medical center. * Patrol and monitor all areas of the medical center, ensuring a visible and effective security presence. * Enforce facility rules, policies, and regulations consistently and professionally. * Monitor all medical center parking areas to ensure the safety and security of vehicles and pedestrians. Physical Requirements:Required standing, sitting, walking, some lifting. Occasional physical intervention when dealing with combative individuals. At times exposure to elements (heat, cold, rain etc. 2/3 split 5P-5A
