We are looking for Security Officers to work Full-time and/or Part-time. AVAILABLE WORK SCHEDULES * City of Downey Library: MON-THURS 2pm-8pm / FRI & SAT 9am-5pm (40 HRS/WK) * Rio Hondo Golf Course, Downey CA: WED-SUN 10am -2pm (20 HRS/WK) * Driving Patrol, Downey USD: FRI/SAT/SUN 10:30pm-6:30am (24 HRS/WK) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation Provide assistance to people in need Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.  QUALIFICATIONS  Applicants must possess a clean driving record, pass a background and drug screen, and have a professional appearance. RMI International is a multi-state security provider. All uniforms and training are paid for.
Responsibilities
Security Officers are responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring access, and responding to alarms. They also investigate suspicious activities and submit reports on daily surveillance.
