What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, assisting individuals with questions and/or directions within the transportation environment. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence. Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as part of daily duties. Minimum Requirements: A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
