As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and the public while managing a high-volume truck gate. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong data entry skills to accurately process vehicle and driver information. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols * Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity * Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions * Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public * Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely * Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 18 years of age * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver’s license preferred * Reliable transportation and means of communication * Basic to intermediate computer skills * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions * Must meet all preemployment requirements Additional Information / Benefits * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Medical Insurance The following shifts are available: * Monday to Wednesday 3PM to 11 PM * Friday 11 PM to 7 AM 18.00 Per Hour License # 1724 #NJ DSI Security Services is a drug free employer complies with all applicable laws regarding affirmative action and equal opportunity in all its activities and programs and does not discriminate against anyone protected by law because of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, handicap, or status as a veteran or disabled veteran.
