What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points at the location to verify credentials and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and vendors as part of access control responsibilities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies. Interact professionally with store staff and patrons to address concerns and provide directions or assistance as needed. Assist with crowd control and/or line management during peak hours or special events within the retail environment. Follow all access control procedures, including monitoring surveillance equipment and alarm systems as required by the site. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
