Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government facility. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documentation, and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, checkpoints-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations or points of contact. Observe and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and hazards, and support crowd and queue management during peak travel periods as directed by site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
