Job Posting Name: Unarmed Security Officer PORTLAND Position Summary We are seeking experienced Unarmed / Armed Guards to join our team for part time, full time, and flex guard positions. We have a round the clock schedule, which are generally 8 hour or 12-hour shifts, weekdays and weekends for AM/PM opportunities. Role and Responsibilities * Responsibilities: * Maintain a high level of alertness and awareness at all times. * Enforce security policies and procedures. * Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. * Monitor the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles. * Maintain records of activities and incidents. * Carry out searches of personnel, vehicles, and buildings as necessary. * Check in hourly or as requested via guard reporting software. * Respond to digital office alerts regarding staffing and HR changes through the companies enterprise applications. * Security Officer Skills: * Must possess a valid Guard card * Must be able to stand for 6+ hours. * Must be able to lift to 25lbs. * Basic computer skills * Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Excellent sense of judgment * Can stay alert at all time
