As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, supporting mobile rounds and rapid response across the campus. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed. Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and verify authorization for entry to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate pertinent information to the next shift and site leadership. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required. Hospital vaccines are required. Hospital morgue work is required. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Hospital restraining individuals is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
