What You'll Do: Provide customer service to onsite staff, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points and conduct identity verification, visitor registration, and badge control in support of a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior spaces and the exterior perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations. Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, and maintain awareness of key systems such as CCTV, alarms, and/or access control to support security-related operations. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or security license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
