Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeThur05:30 AM - 02:00 PMSun05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Requirements Valid Driver's License 21+ years of age Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or policy violations according to post orders. Support traffic and pedestrian flow, assist with directions and general questions, and communicate professionally with the public while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
