Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and activity across assigned areas, report maintenance concerns and/or policy violations, and document observations according to site instructions. Support a professional campus environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unauthorized persons. Minimum Requirements: Guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
