Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production setting. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location, supporting a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols. Interact with employees, contractors, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing site rules and regulations. Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to prevent unauthorized entry. Support Allied Universal and client site management with security-related tasks as directed. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: X-ray screening experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
