What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial scene assessment, notifying appropriate personnel, and documenting actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials as directed, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas per site procedures. Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts, and support security-related procedures for deliveries, parking, and/or restricted areas as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
