As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other assigned areas, verifying credentials and observing visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions. Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with routine inquiries, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location. Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
