What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, corridors, loading areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assist with visitor check-in processes, and/or direct individuals to the appropriate location per site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and coordinating with local responders as needed. Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
