As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to creating a positive atmosphere for clients and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter security-related risks. Document and report incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to company and client protocols. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment for people and property. Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and/or guests as needed. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
