Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Weekdays in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-tech data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist staff and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations and responses. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving alarms, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access control points and visitor activity, including checking identification, issuing temporary badges and/or directing authorized personnel and vendors per site requirements. Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate notable activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership and assist with access and equipment escorts as directed. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred. Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
