As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and document activity using a computer or tablet while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at an industrial location, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting. Control access at gates, doors, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing traffic or deliveries according to site rules. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and/or fire-related events, and notify the appropriate personnel as required. Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate key information to Allied Universal management and oncoming personnel. Minimum Requirements: Alarm Panel Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Customer Service Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
