As an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants and visitors with directions and concerns, communicate clearly with site contacts, and document observations. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including interior common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or property concerns, reporting observations per post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with on-site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate status updates to supervision and property representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
