Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the management of the security contract at the client’s premises
  • Control, monitor and perform the agreed procedures, including but not restricted to Assignment Instructions; Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s); Reception Duties; Health & Safety and any client and management instructions
  • Ensure all site-specific procedures are adhered to at all times
  • All security personnel should ensure they follow the correct dress and deportment standards
  • Forward security documentation to the Security Manager/Snr. Supervisor
  • Develop teamwork within the workforce, ensuring high morale through effective motivational methods and ongoing training which will be delivered by the Security Manager/Snr. Supervisor
  • To comply with the clients and company’s health and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain a high standard of communication and good working relationship with all other Security personnel
  • Carrying out all other duties as required in a professional and diligent manner
  • To ensure patrols and ad-hoc duties as outlined in the AI’s and SOP’s are carried out

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • To report all incidents
  • To report all accidents
  • To keep security records and logs up to date i.e. DOB, handovers, key logs, visitor logs etc
  • To monitor and train staff, on the clients security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms and intruder alarms).
  • To address all staff and visitors enquiries, requests and provide timely updates (where applicable)
  • To comply with applicable environmental, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices. You will have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work
