What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location. Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and vehicle entry logs, and directing arrivals to the correct check-in process. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of building areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates during post turnovers and/or via radio or phone as required. Minimum Requirements: Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
