As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and routine patrols. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:30 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:30 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utility location to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives. Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration. Must be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
