What You'll Do: Provide customer service by greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and assisting individuals entering or leaving the location in accordance with site-specific policies. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Carry out security-related procedures and protocols as outlined by the site, using discretion and professionalism at all times. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required in line with Allied Universal and client protocols. Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and activities through written and/or electronic logs. Support emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership. Collaborate with client staff and other Allied Universal personnel to maintain a welcoming and security-conscious environment at the location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
