JOB DESCRIPTION

You will carry out a range of duties, including monitoring access and egress, patrolling the premises, responding to incidents, and following site-specific procedures.
You will be confident in making sound decisions, using your initiative within set guidelines, and maintaining a visible security presence throughout your shift.
The role involves long periods of standing and walking, so good physical fitness and stamina are essential. While prior experience is advantageous, a willingness to learn and develop strong knowledge of the site and role responsibilities is key.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Valid frontline SIA Licence (DS or SG) is essential
  • Strong customer service skills and a smart appearance
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
  • Ability to pass a full 5-year background check and obtain CTC clearance
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Full training provided with SIA licence renewals paid

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team, providing essential safety and protection services for our clients, premises, and the public.
In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding life and property, ensuring the security and integrity of the site, and delivering excellent service to those you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver proactive security through prevention, detection, and emergency response
  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols
  • Operate access control, key management, CCTV, and X-ray scanning systems
  • Perform gatehouse, car park, and egress duties professionally
  • Complete accurate and timely incident reporting
  • Support security reviews, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Be flexible to work evenings, nights, and weekends when required
