As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues. Support access control practices for restricted areas, assist with closing procedures, and provide visible presence during peak business hours and/or special store events. Minimum Requirements: Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Have 2 or more years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
