Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report maintenance, lighting, or other property concerns that may impact daily operations. Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by observing equipment areas, shipping and receiving activity, and other sensitive spaces, then reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations according to post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
