Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, screen people and property, support access activity, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening guidelines. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, dock areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, as working environments and conditions may vary by site. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
