JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will be instrumental in preventing loss, managing conflicts, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV operation.
• Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

  Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV and other monitoring systems.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect company assets.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches immediately to management.
• Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
